'GRACE' YOUR ORGANIZATION
Pick what your team needs. See how I'd deliver it.
Click the skills you want in a hire, then hit Generate my brief. You'll get a one-page brief you can download as a PDF, copy, or email straight to me.
Find out what potential customers are looking for and bring it back to a development team. I interviewed local nonprofit staff to find the fundraising workflows worth building before writing a line of code. This skill was perfected in my ENTR 410 class.
Take an idea from a blank page to a working product. I'm currently building Give Off, a fundraising platform local nonprofits can run on, and previously developed Corporate Clash.
Launch a recurring newsletter your audience opens. As Communications Specialist I produced The Biz Beat weekly for 2,050+ Michigan Ross students, and I started and run my church's newsletter, The Weekly Word, to connect with the church community.
Rebuild websites for nonprofits and local businesses so they're clear, modern, and convert visitors. I've overhauled websites for nonprofits and local businesses while developing mine for my own ventures.
Build a go-to-market plan grounded in who your customer is. My marketing materials helped drive a 200% fundraising increase for Laundromat Love.
Create, edit, and post TikTok/Instagram content that fits your brand and gets engagement. I've managed @design.movement, @design.umich, @laundromatlove, and my own page (ask me for the username!) on Instagram. I perfected this skill in my Social Media Marketing class (MKT 409) taught by Marcus Collins, author of For The Culture.
Gather customer input/feedback through surveys, interviews, and focus groups. I've done this for the program I mentored 200+ students for, as a Communications Specialist, and as VP of BBA Council.
Dig into records, numbers, and conversations to find what's really going on. As BBA Council Vice President I audited club budgets and council spending forms to make sure every event followed the rules, and oversaw programs under the Academic Success Center to ensure participants were following program policies.
Plan and track spend so projects stay on budget. I do this through spreadsheet trackers on Google Sheets and process forms to oversee projects as they happen.
Grow the money coming in, not just manage the money going out. I wrote the fundraising materials and campaigns for Laundromat Love, and I'm designing Give Off around how local nonprofits raise money.
Put real numbers behind a recommendation before anyone commits to it. I built the full cost breakdown for our case recommendations at the 2024 National Diversity Case Competition.
Design creative campaigns that fit under any constraints. I've done this for Laundromat Love, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and my own venture, Give Off.
Identify potential new audiences worth targeting and back it up with rigorous market research using Mintel, Statista, IBISWorld, eMarketer and more. Seen in my work for Quip, Laundromat Love and Design Movement.
Turn community feedback into formal policies that stick. I led the development of the memo policy system for BBA Council.
Check new marketing materials and products against the rules before anything goes out, and fix what doesn't pass. On BBA Council I reviewed event promotions and new initiatives so they met university and council rules.
Plan and run events people show up to. My events have high turnout, as seen in my work as Outreach Leader for Design, Communications Specialist, and BBA Council's Vice President.
Design presentations for pitches, recommendations, and more that win partners and donors. I use PowerPoint, Canva, and Google Slides.
Design brochures, fliers, and one-pagers people pick up. I work in Canva, Photoshop, and more.
Measure what's working and report it in plain language. I track through Excel and Google Sheets.
Migrate your operations to modern tools and get the team confident using them. I digitized Laundromat Love from paper to Google Workspace.
Coach people one-on-one or in groups until they're confident on their own. I've mentored and tutored 200+ students through the Academic Success Center at Ross.
Put AI tools to work in your team's daily workflows. I am experienced in Claude, Claude Code, Gemini, and NotebookLM and have implemented them into workflows for two nonprofits.
It's the word people use most to describe me. I turned corporate volunteering into a friendly competition with Corporate Clash for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
I minored in philosophy because I like asking why. I ask a lot of meaningful questions to truly understand a problem and get to the best solution.
I think about who a decision helps and who it costs, from my philosophy essay on the ethics of big weddings to my recommendations for Arogya Parivar, a rural health program in India.
I am good at managing a LOT of people by connecting with them individually and understanding what gets them excited.
Growing up first-gen, I didn’t have the resources or insider knowledge most people take for granted. That’s why I see friction points much faster and know how to make products accessible to everyone.
People warm up to me fast. I win people over by tailoring my argument to what matters to them.
I find the deal both sides can say yes to. I negotiated event budgets, vendor pricing, and policy terms on BBA Council and in Design Movement.
Young or old, serious or playful, I adapt my message to fit the room. People walk away understanding and knowing what to do next.
A lot of people enjoy my humor and my ability to lighten the mood.
I can be serious and be the 'bad guy' that gets everyone back on track.
I was promoted from BBA Council representative to Vice President, and I led outreach for Design Movement.
I can lead cross-collaboration between different teams and get them connected on the same goal.
I studied abroad in Hong Kong, which taught me international business, and I can switch easily between product and marketing work.
